Black marked yellow lady beetle, the markings are square and often connected. Sometimes the black is more prominent and the yellow almost white. Often on plants looking for aphids. ⇔ l. 4-6 mm syn. Fourteen spotted ladybird beetle, P-14 LA: ≈ The PSYLLOBORA VIGINTIDUOPUNCTATA (22-spot ladybird) has 22 rounder separated dots. ≈ The ANISOSTICTA NOVEMDECIMPUNCTATA is a little stretched shaped, orange and prefers waterfronts or marshes.
