Long black orange ringed beetle. On the black back, there are 4 wide orange rings, the legs and antennae are black although the ♀ has yellow-brown antennae tips. They prefer umbellifer flowers in wetland areas, larvae feed on dead wood. ⇔ l. 11-19 mm LA: ≈ The RUTPELA MACULATA (Spotted Longhorn) is smoother and has yellow black legs. ≈ The CLYTUS ARIETIS (Wasp beetle) is more black and with yellowish legs.
