A small butterfly with yellow-brown marked front wings and a white rear wing. The markings are distinctive. Seen in between grass stems and seems to be completely white when flying. Often hangs on a grass stem completely folded and hence difficult to spot. ⇔ wsp. 20-26 mm LA: There are many Genus members only to be differentiated on marking details.
