Small slender yellow black wasp, yellow shoulder markings and distinctive yellow lines on the rear. At the wing front edge a yellow black marking. Can be seen often on umbellifers. ⇔ l. 9-10 mm This family has many subspecies and can be found in the northern hemisphere. They don't have the specific hourglass shaped rear of true wasps but do have the black yellow markings giving them a wasp look.
