White butterfly with the black tipped front wing, one black spot visible on the front wing of ♂, the ♀has 2 black spots. Underside front wing white with a yellow tip, rear wing yellowish with veins clearly visible in a grey-green web. ⇔ wsp. 40-45 mm LA: ≈ The PIERIS RAPAE (Small white) has a yellow rear wing under surface. ≈ The APORIA CRATAEGI (Black-veined white) have almost translucent wings with dark veins. ≈ The LEPTIDEA (Wood whites) come with more pointy wing tips.
