Small shiny brown spider with sturdy legs. The front legs are brown with lighter coloured rings, the rear legs are lighter in colour. The rear section has a lighter ring and variable markings that can be yellow, orange or red. Often seen in dense bushes or on flowers in warmer areas, it catches prey larger than itself. ⇔ l. 3-8 mm
