Small white butterfly with pointy wings, the upper surface is white with a dark grey tinge along the front edge. The under surface has a greenish pattern fading to grey when ageing. The antennae have a bright yellow tip. It prefers sunny forest edges and sunny meadows. ⇔ wsp. 30-40 mm Can be found in South East France and the Balkans. LA: ≈ The LEPTIDEA SINAPIS (Wood white) has a similar shape but is greyish at the under surface. ≈ The PIERIS RAPAE (Small white) has more rounded wing tips.
