Slender black front wing with 6 dots, the hind wings are solid with a black border and on the abdomen is a colored band, this is characteristic. The variation is in the color. All dots, rear wing and band red. Or only the first dots red or yellow and the rest white with a red or yellow band. The hindwings can also have a lot of black. ⇔ wsp. 30-40 mm LA: ≈ Very similar to the ZYGAENA FILIPENDULAE (Six-spot burnet) and other family members, but they don't have a colored band on the body. ≈ The yellow and white variant may resemble the AMATA PHEGEA (Spegea Butterfly) which has more spots on the wings and 2 colored bands on the body.
