Slender black wing with 6 spots. Rear wing red on both sides, antennae black as is the body. Day-active. ⇔ wsp. 30-38 mm LA: ≈ ZYGAENIDAE (Burnet moths) have many lookalikes that are difficult to distinguish except for their preferred habitat. ≈ And obviously the number of spots, since there is also the ZYGAENA TRIFOLII (Five-spot burnet). ≈ The ZYGAENA LOTI (Slender Scotch burnet) the markings connect. ≈ The TYRIA JACOBAEAE (Cinnabar moth) has a red line with only 2 dots.
