Small white moth with brown-grey bands crossing the wings. The front wing has three and the rear wing 2 but, they can be vague. The body and antennae are white, the antennae have yellow tips. The caterpillar is about 35 mm, bold and green to brown with red-brown markings on its back. Active at night. Geometer moths often have their wings flat when resting. ⇔ wsp. 32-35 mm syn. Common white wave LA: ≈ In the GEOMETRIDAE (Geometer moth family), there are many with white and vague lines. The wing shape and location of the lines is specific per member.
