Small thin brown-black bug with striking light yellow edges along the wings and yellow hairs on its body. The long antennae start with 2 parts black ending in 2 parts brown-red. The legs are black-brown or red and at both ends of the shield a yellow to orange-red dot. Prefers moist open areas living off plants and unripe fruits. ⇔ l. 6-8 mm LA: ≈ The RHABDOMIRIS STRIATELLUS has yellow lines and the dots at the end of the shield are light yellow.
