Small multicoloured shiny beetle with green, blue, purple, red and orange markings. Each beetle with its own pattern. The belly is black, the antennae are yellow-brown and the legs shiny green. Active during the day and prefers nettle. Both larvae and adult feed on the leaves. ⇔ l. 5-6 mm LA: ≈ The CHRYSOLINA VARIANS has only one colour per individual.
