Small brown bat with long wings. High forehead, small eyes and triangular ears that do not protrude above the head. Arms, ears and face are flesh-coloured brownish. The coat is paler, the belly side is lighter. Chases butterflies and small beetles after sunset. The nurseries can consist of more than 1000 females, while sometimes they also winter solo. Lives in limestone caves, but can also be found in cellars or under bridges. ⇔ krl. 5-6 cm, tl 5-6 cm, wingspan 30-34 cm This is one of the most widespread mammals in the world.
