Sturdy black and white striped centipede. The body consists of narrow segments that are each striped with black and white. The head is round and the abdomen is slightly pointy. The legs are pinkish brown coloured. ⇔ l. 30-50 mm In Northern Europe the species remains smaller, about 25-35 mm, in southern Spain, they can be up to 56 mm.
