Adults are white with large black wings that cover the back like a cloak. The underside of the wing is white grey. Yellow beak with a small red tip. The young are initially brown speckled. Eats everything, fish, flesh, garbage and live prey such as the chicks of other seabirds. ⇔ l. 74-79 cm This is the largest of gulls.
