Yellow body with a vertical black band, black head with white cheeks. The back is green-blue, the tail is blue-grey and the wings are black white. The bolder its black breast band, the more interested the females are! The young have no stripe. Very active and agile, often seen at feeding places. ⇔ l. 13-14 cm The largest and most common tit.
