Blue butterfly, the top is bright blue with a black border along the wings. The body is blue and very hairy. The underside is grey-blue with black-bordered white spots. The spots at the bottom of the front wing are significantly larger than at the bottom of the rear wing. Often found along sandy paths with rugged vegetation and in open spaces in the forest. ⇔ wsp. 22-25 mm LA: ≈ The POLYOMMATUS SEMIARGUS (Mazarine blue) is less bright blue and has black veins. The dots on the underwings are about the same size.
