Wide lobed body, back silver grey, belly side yellow with black and orange. The legs are black, yellow and grey striped, this is the ♀. ♂ is much smaller, has a circular beige body, with 2 wavy orange stripes, a grey head and brown legs. ♀ makes a large web with some zigzag reinforcement lines, between the bushes, in warm sunny places. ⇔ l. ♂ 5-7 mm, ♀ 17-25 mm ♂ preferably pairs with a large ♀ and are prepared to compete with others ♂.
