Small gecko with a fat round pointy tail and a chicken like skin. Brown-grey banded back with short fat toes. The belly is lighter and the tail is brown-grey marked. Prefers the south African shrubbery called “fijnbos”. ⇔ l. 6-8 cm including the tail. There are 55 species GEKKONIDAE (Thick toed gecko's) in Africa, the most are not well documented.
