White parrot with a black beak and bright yellow crest. Cheeks, under surface wing and tail, are both yellowish. The iris of ♂ is black brown and for the ♀ red-brown. This is the only visible gender difference which shows over 3 years of age. While breeding in pairs or families, outside in large flocks up to hundreds of birds. It is kept as a pet as well. ⇔ l. 48-50 cm
