Conspicuous bold pink head and neck with a long yellow beak. Black back and white belly, pink gulag sac that can sometimes be observed. Majestic pace and flies with neck curved as opposed to other storks. Mostly scavenger and often seen with vultures but also can take live prey. In large and small groups and an excellent thermal flyer. ⇔ l. 120-150 cm This is a gregarious bird.
