Red-brown back, lighter belly, pointed beak.  Both genders are the same. 

Mostly to be found in reed beds but can be seen in willow trees if close to the water. They hang on to vertical reeds sounding rhythmic and repetitive. Mostly hangs its nest in the reeds.

⇔ l. 12-14 cm

The family members are difficult to tell apart, sounding like each other and choosing the same habitat.
