Black shiny feathers covering the upper legs, a large light grey beak with a bald base. Often seen in large groups in fields looking for worms and larvae. Breeds in high trees in colonies, ⇔ l. 45-47 cm Partly migratory bird. LA: ≈ The CORVUS CORONE (Carrion crow) which has a completely black beak and lives in smaller groups.
