Yellow-green back, white belly and yellow face and breast. Long wings, dark legs and some black coverts on its back. Prefers deciduous wood with open areas. Has a two-tone song. Makes a tightly woven nest on the ground with a side entrance, both parents share the nursing. ⇔ l. 12-14 cm syn. RHADINA SIBILATRIX Migratory birds wintering in central Africa and breeding in central Europe. LA: ≈ The PHYLLOSCOPUS TROCHILUS (Willow warbler) and PHYLLOSCOPUS COLLYBITA (Chiffchaff) have a fainter eyebrow and are less yellow.
