White front wing with a black tip and a central black marking, the front wing of the ♂ is half orange visible from both sides. The rear wing upper surface is white, the under surface is greenish for both sexes. The green caterpillar is well camouflaged between the stems, they first eat the flowers, followed by the seeds and leaves. ⇔ wsp. 35-45 mm LA: ≈ The ♀ looks like the PONTIA DAPLIDICE (Bath white) which has more black markings at the wing tip.
