The green caterpillars also live on the MENTHA (Mint), the butterfly prefers URTICA (Nettle). ⇔ wsp. 24-28 mm syn. ANANIA HORTULATA LA: ≈ The ABRAXAS GROSSULARIATA (Magpie Moth) is larger and has a yellow central stripe on its front wing.
