Black and orange-red striped bug, the shoulder shield is orange with rows of black dots just like the belly. The legs are orange. The colour is a defence mechanism to warn predators that they taste bad! Mainly found on umbellifers. ⇔ l. 8-12 mm Only found around the Mediterranean. LA: ≈ The GRAPHOSOMA LINEATUM (Italian striped-bug) has black legs and continuing stripes on the neck shield.
