Small green parrot with pink-red face and blue tailfeather. Colours of both genders are the same, though differences between birds can be large. Living in noisy flocks, happily enjoying a bath. During sleep, they turn their heads to each other which looks heart-shaped, hence the name. ⇔ l. 15-17 cm Small parrot, in the wild only found in South-West Africa, easy to domesticate so well known as a cage bird.
