Dark coloured songbird with red eye rings, grey-brown back, blue-grey head, red-brown breast and flanks and a white marked rust brown throat with a white belly. Short wings with a long thin grey tail. Both sexes are same but the ♂ is brighter. Lives in shrubby dryer terrain, often seen sitting with its long tail upwards. ⇔ l. 12-13 cm A resident bird living in or around Spain.
