Brown black geese with a green glow, pink-red beak and legs, around the eyes bold red. White belly and wing feathers. ♂ are noticeably larger and develop a large bump on their forehead. Prefers groups on inland waters, shy, feeds during colder hours or at night. Nests near water and can choose old nests of other animals (not only bird nests). ⇔ l. 75-115 cm The largest of wild geese.
