Brown red with black and beige markings resembling the shape of antlers. The ♂ has feathered antennae and the ♀ thread like. The ♀ is also a little larger. Found on grasslands, dunes and pine and also active in the daytime. ⇔ wsp. 23-30 mm The caterpillar is night active sometimes in very large numbers.
