Large yellow weaver, ♂ while breeding orange-yellow head and yellow belly with a yellow-brown back. Outside breeding more like the female; olive green with a yellow belly. ♂ has a black beak and yellow eyes, ♀light brown beak with dark eyes. Breeds in colonies with large sloppy woven nests in trees. ⇔ l. 16-17 cm The BOSTRYCHIA HAGEDASH (Hadada ibis) sometimes nests in its colony.
