Brown black marked with black eye line and light grey eyebrow. The long beak is clearly visible during flight. 

Is very shy and behaves discreetly. Stays hidden until the very last moment, if the threat is too close it flies away with some noise.

Was often hunted as game and in the past, it was considered a skill to hit it.
