Large blue red yellow parrot with a long tail. A white face with white upper beak and black lower beak. The eyes are yellow and for the young sometimes dark. There can be green in the wings. A very noisy bird that uses the noise to communicate with each other. Often seen alone or in pairs, on clay walls in groups. Here they complement their menu with salt and eat the clay to detox. ⇔ l. 75-81 cm The national bird of Honduras.
