Bright blue upper side with white dotted black edges. The undersurface is brown with a row of red yellow black eyes on both front and rear wing. Along the edges, there are white red and yellow stripes. The butterfly and caterpillar can be poisonous if eggs are laid on poisonous plants. The caterpillar stocks the poison and it remains in the butterfly! Both caterpillar and butterfly are beautiful. ⇔ wsp. 95-120 mm syn. Common Morpho, The Emperor
