Slender black cormorant with yellow-brown throat and yellow beak.
While hatching white stains on throat and neck. Fairly long tail and often has an S-shaped neck. Young are brownish.
 
Dives for food and uses the flippers to gain speed. Also seen to hunt in groups by flapping the wings on the water to direct the fish.
