Brown green snout beetle, with a bright light yellow-green line. Large snout with antennae at the front, dark legs with small barbs. Prefers forest edges and moist soil. Lives on weeds like thistles and nettles, the larvae also eat these. ⇔ l. 8-11 mm LA: ≈ The PHYLLOBIUS ARGENTATUS (Silver green leaf weevil) is smaller and lacks the yellow-green edge.
