A small flat moth with white wings. Along the rear and front edge, a faint beige band is visible. Central on the front wing in the white area is a black comma-shaped marking. The body is white with a double row of black markings. ⇔ wsp. 25-30 mm LA: ≈ The EPIRRHOE RIVATA (Wood carpet) has a much darker band on the front wings and is darker in colour. ≈ The SCOPULA DECORATA (Middle lace border) has a band at the rear edge of the wings and is lighter in colour.
