Brown-grey marked moth. The brown, black and beige markings form zigzag lines on front and rear wings. The ♂ has deeply feathered antennae. Prefers pine trees. ⇔ wsp. 30-35 mm LA: Many Beauty moths are very similar but details in markings and colours are specific, for example, the HYPOMECIS ROBORARIA (Great oak beauty). See photo LA.
