Round-bodied yellow-orange beetle, the back shield is yellow with 5 black stripes, the neck shield is orange with black markings. The legs are red black and antennae are black white. The round larvae start dark red becoming more yellowish with black dots and head. Both beetle and larva eat leaves of the SOLANACEAE (Nightshades), mostly known for its damage to the potato. ⇔ l. 10-13 mm
