Long stretched colourful spider with a green-yellowish rear, on its back a dark leaf-like marking and a black line on its belly. The head and legs are brown and the front legs are considerably shorter. The ♂ has large pincers on its head. The web is made close to or even over water with a central hole. When threatened it stretches itself on on a leaf or stem. ⇔ l. 7-12 mm
