Long black snake with white yellow cross rings over the entire body, the under surface of the head is white marked.

It is a constrictor snake but it is also able to kill with its powerful jaws. Hunts mice, rats, small birds and eggs by invading their holes.

Mainly found in the north east of Asia around the Amur river the border between Russia and China. And a small colony in the north-east of the Netherlands.
