Black songbird with a white cap, rump, underbelly and undersurface of the tail. The central tail feathers are black. Young birds do not have the cap. Prefers arid areas but is often spotted near houses. ⇔ l. 17-19 cm Rarely seen in Europe. LA: ≈ The OENANTHE LEUCURA (Black flycatcher) that never has a white cap and the tail feathers are black tipped. He lives in southern Europe and Africa.
