Slender blue-black damselfly with rear head markings and shoulder lines looking like exclamation marks. The amount of blue is variable. The Y shaped black marking on the second segment is an identifier.

LA:
≈ Dark versions are similar to the COENAGRION ARMATUM (Norfolk damselfly) which is rare.
≈ The light coloured versions are like the COENAGRION PUELLA  (Azure damselfly). 
Both lack the exclamation mark shaped shoulder line and the Y shaped second segment.
