A small white moth with circle and band markings on its wings, visible from both sides. Found often at waterfronts on still water and often with its head down against a stem. ⇔ wsp. 22-30 mm LA: ≈ The ANANIA CORONATA is dark brown with white circle markings and is more likely found on fields and forest edges. ≈ The NYMPHULA NITIDULATA (Beautiful China-mark) rests more flat, with no space between body and object.
